Brunch on Eat Street in Whittier
Matcha-forward, Vietnamese-influenced, and a brunch you can do without mimosas. On Eat Street in Whittier.
Wishi Co. serves brunch on Eat Street in Whittier, Minneapolis — matcha-forward and Vietnamese-influenced, with signatures like matcha French toast, the Nicollet burger and bò né. It is fully zero-proof, so brunch comes with craft mocktails instead of mimosas.
A different kind of brunch
This is not another eggs-and-mimosas diner. Brunch at Wishi is matcha-forward and Vietnamese-influenced — stone-ground matcha in the drinks and on the plate, Vietnamese coffee at the table, and dishes that pull from the family's roots on Eat Street.
It is also women-owned and Asian-owned, and fully zero-proof, which quietly makes it one of the more welcoming brunches in the city — nobody is nudged toward a drink to make the table feel complete.
What to order
Start with the Matcha French Toast — thick-cut bread in a matcha batter with cream and fresh fruit. From there it is your call: pesto Avocado Toast with sunny eggs, croissant Eggs Benedict, a loaded Breakfast Burrito, or the Nicollet burger with bacon, avocado and cheddar.
For something rooted in the neighborhood, the Vietnamese Chicken Sticky Rice and the sizzling bò né bring the Eat Street side of the menu to the brunch table.
Brunch without the booze
Because Wishi is a sober bar, brunch comes with craft mocktails instead of mimosas — real, layered drinks, all $10, alongside the matcha and Vietnamese coffee. It is a full brunch experience that happens to be alcohol-free, which is exactly why so many groups land here.

What people say
“Easily the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Never thought of having pesto on avocado toast — but the real star was the matcha french toast. Highly recommend, would visit the city again just for this breakfast!”
“The food, drinks and service were amazing! The crème brûlée Vietnamese coffee was bomb. I loved the Nicollet burger, and the nourishing beef was like a breakfast banh mì. Tasted amazing!”
