The Sober Bar · Whittier
Minneapolis's Zero-Proof Craft Cocktail Bar
Every drink alcohol-free, by design. A café by day, a craft mocktail bar by night — on Eat Street in Whittier.
Wishi Co. is a fully zero-proof bar in Minneapolis: every drink is alcohol-free, from the craft mocktails to the matcha and Vietnamese coffee. Find it at 2653 Nicollet Ave on Eat Street in Whittier, where mocktails pour from midafternoon into the evening.
A bar where every drink is zero-proof
Wishi Co. is a sober bar in the truest sense: there is no alcohol on the menu, anywhere. It is not a short non-alcoholic afterthought stapled to a liquor list — it is a full craft program built spirit-first, with layered, balanced drinks meant to be lingered over, served in a real room with real food.
By day the room pours matcha and Vietnamese coffee for the brunch crowd. In the afternoon it becomes the sober bar and the mocktail menu comes out, made with the same care a good cocktail bar puts into its list — minus the alcohol. You get the ritual and the flavor without the hangover, and nobody at the table has to sit out the round.
Eight mocktails, and a few are pure Whittier
Every mocktail is $10 and made to order, and several are quietly Vietnamese at heart. The Canh Chua Cooler riffs on the sweet-sour tamarind soup of the Mekong Delta; the BBH Sparkler nods to Bún Bò Huế with lemongrass, ginger and lime; the Pho Spice Sour builds an aromatic five-spice sour around fresh lime. It is a mocktail list you will not find anywhere else in Minneapolis, because it grew out of a Vietnamese kitchen.
If you want something bright and easy, the Guava Kiss layers guava, plum and hibiscus, the Da Lat Empress pours N/A gin with strawberry and a whisper of orange, and the Piña Colada keeps it creamy and tropical. A couple — the Lychee O3 and the Pho Spice Sour — are shaken with egg white for that soft, cloud-topped finish. Full flavor, zero proof.
A real night out, sober
There are plenty of reasons to skip the drink — you are driving, you are pregnant, you are in recovery, it is Dry January, or you simply do not feel like it tonight. At most bars that means a soda and a shrug. At Wishi it means a menu built for you, in a room designed to stay in.
It also makes for one of the few genuine sober date nights in the city: a craft drink in hand, dinner from the same kitchen — the Nicollet burger, bò né, the Wishi salmon plate — and no pressure to order a cocktail to feel part of the evening.
Women-owned, Asian-owned, made in Whittier
Wishi Co. is the rebrand and expansion of 8th Street Nourish, run by the same women-owned, Asian-owned team on Eat Street in the Whittier neighborhood. The nourish idea never went away — it just grew a night side.
You will find us at 2653 Nicollet Avenue, one block from Quang, with street parking on Nicollet and the Minneapolis Institute of Art a few minutes away. Come for the matcha, stay for the mocktails.

What people say
“The interior is beautiful, as are the owner and staff. We tried the passionfruit soda, blueberry matcha, and the BBH mocktail — everything was so lovely.”
“BEST VIETNAMESE COFFEE in town! So many varieties. The crème brûlée iced Vietnamese coffee is hands-down the best coffee/dessert I've had in the cities. Now they have mocktails after 3pm as well. Vibes are great; the owners are amazing and friendly!”
